“The thief comes to kill and destroy, but I have come that you might have life to the fullest.”
– Jesus (John 10:10)

Serving Others is a conviction for those of us who attend the Lakewood Church of Christ. Mark 10:45 tells us that “the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve.” Following the example of Jesus, we see the importance in serving others. As part of our purpose, we serve others both domestically and internationally. Many of our members go on missions overseas in an effort to serve others and ultimately present the good news of the hope that is found in Jesus to those they serve. Locally, our congregation financially and physically supports ministries and actively serves those in the community. Through activities like our annual clothing giveaway day, benevolence center, and various other initiatives the members at Lakewood unite as a family and enjoy the experiences we have serving each other and our community. We would love for you to join us as we serve those who need it the most. Additionally, please let us know if there is a need that we are able to serve the community in! Following is a brief list of the ministries our church family utilizes in order to fulfill its purpose of serving others.”
